Terms for the serviceLast changed 16 September 2026
Terms of service
What Plauso gives you, what we expect from you, and what happens if either of us wants to stop. If you order signs, the purchase terms apply as well.
DraftThis text will be reviewed by a lawyer before launch.
We wrote it ourselves, as plainly as we could, and it describes how Plauso actually works today. But it has not been read by a lawyer, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. The review happens before the service launches for real.
Who you are contracting with
Plauso is a service from Nordkod Media AB, a Swedish company. Creating an account means entering an agreement with us about the service itself. How we handle personal data is in the privacy policy, and if you buy signs, the purchase terms cover that order.

What Plauso does
Plauso asks your customers for a review when the job is done. You get a short link and a QR code that lead straight to your profile, and you can send the request by text or email to customers you add.
Features that are not built yet are marked “Coming” inside the service. They are not part of the agreement until they exist — a label is a promise about direction, not about delivery.
What Plauso does not do
Three things we want to be blunt about, because others in this business hint at the opposite.
- We do not remove reviews, and we cannot promise that anyone else will. The review sits with Google or whichever platform you chose, and only they can take something down. If a review breaks their rules you can report it to them — they decide the outcome.
- We do not filter. Every customer gets the same question, whether or not you expect a good review. Asking only the happy ones is forbidden both here and in Google's guidelines, and Plauso has no feature for it.
- We do not write reviews and we do not buy them. You must not reward anyone for writing one either — no discount, no gift card, nothing.
Your account
An account has one email address, and you sign in with a code we send there. There is no password. That means whoever reaches your inbox reaches your account: keep it protected, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has been in.
You are responsible for keeping the account details correct — business name, address, and the sender name your customers see in the text message.
What you are responsible for
- That the people you add really have bought from you. You confirm it every time you add a customer, and that confirmation is what we rely on.
- That the phone number or email address is correct, and that you delete details you no longer need.
- That you follow the rules of the platform you collect reviews on. Google's guidelines apply even when the request is sent from here.
- That you use the sending only to ask for a review. Offers, discounts and other marketing do not belong in it.
- That you do not work around the opt-out. Every message carries a link to stop receiving more, and a customer who used it must not be added again.
What we are responsible for
We deliver the service as described on the site and in the account, we say plainly what is not built, and we fix faults we are told about.
We do not promise the service is never down. It runs on suppliers, and both they and we sometimes need to do maintenance. If an outage is long, or planned, we tell you.
Your customers' details are processed only to deliver the service to you. There you are the controller and we are your processor — the privacy policy explains what that means.
Prices and payment
Plans are priced per location per month, excluding VAT or sales tax. There is no lock-in. What each plan includes is listed in the pricing and in the account; a feature marked “Coming” is not included until it exists.
If we change the price we tell you in advance by email. If you would rather not continue, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
Ending the agreement
You can cancel whenever you like. The account then runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and we charge nothing more.
We can end the agreement if you break these terms — for example by filtering reviews or sending to people who have not bought from you — or if payment fails. Where we can, we contact you first so you have a chance to put it right.
Your short link and QR code keep pointing at your profile until you ask us to close them. Signs you have already handed out should not stop working the day after you leave.
If something goes wrong
If we have caused you harm by being negligent, we compensate it, up to what you have paid for the service over the last twelve months.
We do not compensate lost profit or indirect losses, and we are not answerable for what a review platform does. Changed rules, a closed profile or a review you dislike are outside our control.
The limit does not apply if we caused the harm intentionally or through gross negligence. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer law always comes before what is written here.
Changes to these terms
If we need to change the terms we email you before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Plauso after that means the new terms apply. If you would rather not, you can cancel.
Law and disputes
Swedish law applies to the agreement. If we cannot agree, the dispute is settled by a Swedish court.
If you are a consumer you can instead take the matter to the consumer dispute body in your own country. In Sweden that is the National Board for Consumer Disputes, arn.se, whose recommendations we follow.
